Wash Rite South Canterbury: Shining Bright with Community Spirit9 Jul 2024

At Wash Rite, we believe in more than just providing top-notch exterior cleaning services; we are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. Based in Timaru, our team at Wash Rite South Canterbury is passionate about giving back and supporting local initiatives that bring people together and improve our surroundings.

Recently, their commitment to community service was highlighted when they had the privilege of assisting the Timaru Early Childhood Centre. The Networkers group which they belong to undertook its first community project at BestStart Marchwiel on Friday with members busy on the tools constructing a new roof for the centre’s play area, putting in new drainage, cleaning fish tanks, planting, and painting.

Networkers spokesperson Shaun Fisher said it had been a busy day with volunteers leaving the centre looking
“a million dollars’’.
“We’ve done a hell of a lot of stuff,’’ Fisher said.
“It’s been a pretty good day.’’

Fisher said about 20 people turned up to help with the project, including members of the group, staff from Mitre 10 Mega in Timaru and ABC Contracting.

Our team at Wash Rite South Canterbury is made up of locals who care deeply about the wellbeing of our neighborhood. We are proud to contribute our skills and resources to support various community projects, from schools and parks to local events and fundraisers. It is our way of saying thank you to the community that has supported us over the years.

By choosing Wash Rite South Canterbury, you are not only opting for exceptional cleaning services but also supporting a business that values and invests in the community. We look forward to continuing our efforts in making Timaru a cleaner, brighter place for everyone.
